Frequently Asked Questions
This is one of the most common questions in the marketplace regarding waterless wash. The use of polymer technology is the answer. When sprayed onto the vehicle, PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer saturates the dirt particles in a fine lubricant. This lubricant literally isolates the particles and separates them from your vehicle’s surface to protect your vehicle’s finish. Not dissimilar to using water on the car with a sponge, but with more lubrication than water itself. With the use of a PureWax Microfibre Cloth, you may then safely capture these softened dirt particles from your vehicle’s finish. Always work on one section at a time. Spray, pick up, dry and polish. Never apply or polish with a soiled Microfibre Cloth.
Obviously, it is possible that a vehicle can become too dirty for this type of wash (i.e. off road 4×4). With regular driving this limit will not be reached. All types of dirt can be effectively removed with the PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer. However heavy mud cannot be cleaned because it saturates the area of the Microfibre Cloth too quickly.
PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer can be used all year round in Australia. However, the temperature has to be appropriate. It is important to clean your vehicle in the shade if extreme temperatures occur because the sun rays will warm up the car’s body and the product will dry up too quickly, thus becoming hard to work with.
You will need between 3-4oz of product to clean an average sized car. So a 16oz bottle should give 4-5 full details. What is important to understand is that you only need t spray a thin layer of the PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer to soak the dirt and let the micro-bead polymer do its work.
The polymer that is found in the PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer leaves a thin layer of protection that shines your vehicle as if you had just waxed it. The polymer leaves a mirror-like finish on your vehicle’s body with UV protection. With this protection comes an antistatic effect that prevents dust from sticking; washes are therefore less frequent. Use PureWax Waterless Wash / Detailer regularly to maintain a showroom shine.
We suggest 3 Microfibre Cloths to clean your entire car. The first 2 cloths (when folded correctly) are used to pick up the dirt and primary product removal. The third cloth is then used for buffing.
